Tony
has been involved with model power boats for the past 33 years.
R/C
Power Boating then became a family hobby, one we have all thoroughly enjoyed for many
years. Both Tony and Adrienne received official South African colours for R/C
Power Boating and this gave them the opportunity to represent South Africa three times and then New Zealand
at the NAVIGA World
Championships.
As a family we have attended National and International events
in South Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
We have met some really wonderful people at these
events and have formed good friendships. Our main objective at High Performance Models is that you
have as much fun boating as we do. We have learnt
through the years
that the best way to do this is by having brands that perform well
so when the pressure to win is on, you can enjoy your race.

THE R/C POWER BOATING HOBBY STARTED WAY BACK WHEN................
.......TONY WAS A TEENAGER
He has been around to see vast changes in boat hull and engine design.

Tony is an airline pilot
( which means that I do all the work ) but his excuse is that when
he is away he
uses his time to visit other model shops,
suppliers and clubs around the world, making sure that we are
up to date with
performance
technology and that our prices are
comparable world wide. |

In August 2001 we immigrated to New Zealand
